Oh that's a pain OC. Hope you feel better soon.

Whinge About Covid
Out, damn T-Line, OUT!!!
Or, to put it another way, I tested positive for Covid again this morning. My consolation is that it took a few minutes for the C-line and the T-line to appear, so I hope that means that I am shedding less Covid virus.
Will I be free of it tomorrow? We shall see!

I'm feeling somewhat better Furby - well enough to go out and do some shopping. But I shall have to stay in and wait. Still a bit snuffly though.

Good news - tested negative for Covid this morning. If I test negative tomorrow I shall celebrate by raiding Morrisons for goodies that are bad for me.....................................

Great news. Here's hoping Morrison's won't be too busy tomorrow.

Whinge About Covid
I joined the club on the 25th OC. Been positive for four days now, it's so annoying. And I'm flying to London on the 3rd. I really hope I'll be well and not too exhausted until then.

That's very bad timing for you, Tom. However, you are young and I hope able to shake it off more quickly than I seem to have done.
Good luck and a rapid recovery!

I hope that everyone is feeling a little bit better. No more covid and no more colds and stupid stuff! and that the new year starts off properly.

Oh dear. Main thing is oc is just snuffly and not in hospital whatever tests say.
So tests aren't that reliable are they because oc can't have caught it again so soon having been responsibly staying home saving lives and protecting the NHS.
And poor toms holidays . The gap between 25th and 3rd is borderline not long enough. How do flights work now anyway do they still need mobile phone tests to get on or is it all back to normal.

It’s all back to normal with “nothing to see here” on travel and planes.
Mostly in the UK, it’s “no public transport” to see.

Travelling itself shouldn't be an issue. And it will be the 10th day so I hope I won't be THAT infectuous. And I'll wear a mask for good measure. But I'm still positive too.
Sorry to hear that your test is positive again OC.

Sorry to hear that OC - does seem like this new strain takes longer to shift than previous strains but hopefully you'll be clear by tomorrow. It is a huge PITA though and sorry it's messed up your plans.

Whinge About Covid
I shall test again on Monday because I have an ECG-type test on Thursday at the surgery - they arranged that for me when I told them on jab day that I had nearly fainted at home while just sitting in my chair and that less extreme dizzy spells had happened a few times recently.
I felt much better yesterday and decided I was most probably no longer infectious, so I went shopping at Morrisons.

That's almost certainly because your lungs aren't working at full capacity so your SpO2 level is low to mid 90s instead of 95%+. Less oxygen gets to your brain so you feel faint or dizzy.
