These are my Christmas cactuses which seem to have decided it's not Xmas at all. Usually they manage at least one measly pink flower between them. The one on the left is ancestral cactus and the others are slightly newer cactus whose arms fell off and I replanted so now three. They used to live on bathroom window but have outgrown it so maybe they are sulking at new home on the ottoman.

This is my craft project from today. I went on a Christmas strike (technically a slowdown of work, because I still cooked people a nice breakfast), and did this instead. It's been an exhausting couple of months.

This is a photo that I dredged up from way back in 2009. There was even snow in those olden times, and you may notice that the bird has snow on its beak. The reason is that I cheated a bit to get the picture; the perch was a favourite for the robin so I dropped some seed on the post and covered it with snow. I didn't have long to wait for the robin to arrive and to get my picture.
The odd looking doughnut highlights in the background are a feature of the reflex mirror lens that I was using.

I love your crafted decorations, Daisy.

Mim. What a beautiful family. Little Silas looks like a wee dote :love

I see you took my merry mince pies and raised them Eccles' Eccles cakes, Eccles :D Thank you for the robin! You know I love robins.

Juliet's present for JYM, who loves birds and usually has a tame robin around, whether at the yard or house, a bird-box with a camera inside it! it's solar powered and will relay footage direct to his phone. He was so delighted by it.

Furby, my cactus, which is the Furby Ancestral Cactus, was COVERED in pink flowers this Christmas! I'll post a pic in the ancestral furby cactus topic.

Tom! I think the way you folk dress semi-formally for Christmas is really good. :clap

The food looks great as well! :D

Merry, everybody looks happy in your Christmas pics - possibly because you were able to do your cooking? :devil

It all looks very good! :grouphug

Tom and his sister look lovely in that pic. I love that Viki dressed up as an Elf :D

Tom that schnitzel makes me want some every time I see it.

Thank you OC, we did indeed manage a lovely Christmas despite everything. I'm sorry you were less lucky and had to spend the day alone, but you did have their Lord and Ladyships for company.
