How do you eat your frosted cupcake?

I'm going to a brass band tea concert on Sunday. There won't be knives and forks so if there are cupcakes I'll do it 'the mimosa way'

We went to that brass band concert today where huge plates of cakes and sandwiches came out and I thought I was going to be able to do mim's Cupcake Trick and post photographic evidence, but someone else took the only cupcake so I couldn't! (That's it - at the back - the bizarrely purple one, with even more bizarrely, a FOOT in rice paper on top?!

The cakes tasted much better than they looked!

I ate: a piece of apple cake. A lemon cake. A piece of carrot cake. And I ate 5 sandwiches and brought about a hundred home to fry up tomorrow

Looks yummy although I think you might have dodged a bullet with the blue iced one.

Its fried sandwiches isn't it. In modern times can stick them in a sandwich toaster to make toasties. Is a mess to clean though so I rarely do these days.

I cut cake up first with a knife and eat with a little silver fork.
