Happy Anniversary. Tom!

I started around the same time but didn't publish my first until March 22nd. "only" 256k words for me

I spotted this on Twitter, it's a North and South Valentine card! and since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow...

I can't remember if the book mentions this, but does Thornton lose his magisterial position when he loses the mill?

And, if so, why would that be?

I don't recall that at all from the book. I don't think he did.

I don't think it's mentioned, but he might have felt he had to give it up anyway if he'd had to take a salaried position (because he wouldn't have had the time to do the work). Also, he might have felt the status loss and given it up for that reason as well.

This is so me after I had watched series in repeat and also after I had read book. I so was in love to this novel and series, that I really so wanted to more read about it and that's how I came in fanfic world, especially N&S and started to write them by myself, and met you all!
