Christmas cards?

Post by DaisyNinjaGirl »

Kia ora koutou,

Last year, some of the Millers had a Christmas Card exchange, which was lovely, but the mail service was so slow that people were receiving their cards several months after Christmas. So I wondered if anyone would be interested in organising something now, so that NZ Post/the Royal Mail/the US Postal Service/numerous European services can all pleasantly surprise us?

I think that's a great idea. I joined after Christmas so didn't take part then but would like to. We could make it clear on the envelope what it's for in case people want to save them for nearer the time (if the post works quickly for a change)

Slight update - can you PM me with your email address so I can give you editing rights! Thanks for noticing, Magda!
If I've already sent you the link, can you 'request edit access' and I'll fix it that way.

Oh yes PLEASE!

Most of the ones I sent went missing last year... but most made it in the end.

I got mine posted today, which I realise is ridiculously early, but I don't much trust the Post Office where I live. :xmas_hat

The chap who sold me stamps was very friendly about sticking them all on for me. Bless.

Well done Daisy!

My postcards all went missing last year, I think they just bin those as unimportant rather than have the bother of sending them off, so I'm sending cards in envelopes this year, but haven't written any yet :blush
