All my Nikon Camera and lenses have been dumped onto London Camera Exchange at Park Street Bristol and replaced with a whole new set of Olympus kit. There is one lens left to go which is on back order. The man at LCE was very pleased!
The OM system is much smaller and lighter and size-for-size competes very well with the larger kit. My brother has the same kit, and it was seeing his results that convinced me to switch. Having charged up the battery and switched on the camera I thought, crikey, now what do I do? It is very different.
I'm posting a crop of my brother's photo to save Pani's disk space that shows the sort of detail this system, which he also has, can do. The heron was a fair old distance away.

I dont know anything about cameras but smaller and lighter sounds a good idea.
Does the camera exchange swap for the newer ones or do you just sell them the old ones and go off to buy new ones.

The shop bought all my old camera gear in part exchange for the new. It wasn't the least expensive way to change systems but it was the simplest. At my age simple is good.
