At first when Thornton handed her into the house, I thought that meant that he went in with her. I got rather confused. And it took a minute after going back that it meant that he had assisted her into the house. Silly me.

It sounds so realistic, Magda, even in your style of writing.

thank you, its hard to make things realistic (like getting from A to B and the time things take) without boring everyone. The handing her in might usually be used with carriages? Anyway, due to the relentless 'hand' theme of this story, I used it.
