Challenges! The cinnamon challenge (to try to kill yourself ingesting spices); the ice bucket challenge to fund raise for ALS; not sure about the other two.

9. the latest additions to SI prefixes. They will probably only ever be used by scientists - kilo, mega. Giga and Tera are enough for most people but there's peta, exo, zetta and yotta above that.
