Migration bill "morally unacceptable" says Archbishop

Justin Welby has weighed in on the debate in the Lords about sending illegal immigrants to Rwanda in order to dissuade them from making the Channel crossing. He said the practice is "opposite to the nature of God".

This is a man whose only apparent qualification for residence in the House of Lords and to make decisions on behalf of the country is that he believes that nailing a man to a cross 2000 years ago was a good thing to be celebrated.
