1 Which animals returned to Devon’s River Otter in 2013? I think these are beavers - I think recently their fence was damaged and they escaped for a few days.

4 Which eighth-century dynasty ruled territory from the Pyrenees to Punjab? The Umayyad Caliphate.

7 Bokmål and Nynorsk are the written forms of which language? Norwegian
Like the late Chaircat Midge, I am not always right.

2. It's the maximum mass a star can be before it destroys itself due to its own gravity and becomes a black hole.
3. Young, Gifted and Black. I think we had this one quite recently...
8. It's one of the Laws of Quizzing that if a question starts "Which art critic..." the answer is always Brian Sewell. Knowing my luck this will be the one time it isn't...

Ha! But actually they swear like troopers on Mumsnet, they fancy themselves as 'edgy'. One of their favourite insults (seems to amuse them) is 'fuck off to the far side of fuck and when you get there, fuck off some more. ' Also, 'fuck off, cuntychops.' 'of the becunted kind'.

1 Beavers.
2 Star (maximum, theoretically, for a stable white dwarf).
3 To Be Young, Gifted and Black.
4 Umayyad (caliphate).
5 Am I being unreasonable?
6 The Office (US version in Scranton, Pennsylvania).
7 Norwegian.
8 Brian Sewell.
