She's quite the party stopper in that dress, isn't she?
I like that pic too. So beautiful.
Yes, Pippkin, she is. Totally and absolutely. Agree!Philipaholt wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 6:05 pm She's quite the party stopper in that dress, isn't she?
Yes, merry, so true. Agree with you!
First, it was shame yes, that nothing happened more between them in that dinner party.PenelopePitstop wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 11:21 am unless someone would like to explore down this rabbit hole?!!
Fossy, is Margaret perhaps sewing some things for the Thornton baby in this one?
Maybe, Impy, who knows.impossibleusay wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 2:28 amFossy, is Margaret perhaps sewing some things for the Thornton baby in this one?![]()

I agree, Penny. I'm writing something a bit like it. John re-doing his life and doing it better. The dinner party scene will definitely be more like your version! It was a real shame John got called away by Slickson (or whoever it was) just after shaking hands with Margaret. I wonder how the conversation might have continued if he had not been led away? Would he have escorted Margaret into the dining room when the gong went?! Maybe pull out Margaret's her chair for her and stare down her decolletage whilst she is seated?! Guess we'll never know.....unless someone would like to explore down this rabbit hole?!!
