It's A Fair Cop, Guv!

Post by OurCreature »

Dishy Rishi has been issued with a fixed penalty notice (the amount hasn't been revealed.............yet) for not wearing a seatbelt in that video (since taken down) of him going round Oop North in the car helping them to level up.
Lancashire constabulary said on Friday: “You will be aware that a video has been circulating on social media showing an individual failing to wear a seatbelt while a passenger in a moving car in Lancashire.

“After looking into this matter, we have today issued a 42-year-old man from London with a conditional offer of fixed penalty.”

A No 10 spokesperson said: “The prime minister fully accepts this was a mistake and has apologised. He will of course comply with the fixed penalty.”

The police did not say how much they had fined the prime minister, but according to the government’s safety campaign, any driver or passenger not wearing a seatbelt is breaking the law and is liable to be fined up to £500.

Tory MP Scott Bent-on (sniggers) said it was a waste of Lancashire Police's time. Given there was video evidence in the public domain I doubt if much time was necessary to determine the PM's guilt.

Because there is clear evidence they probably had to fine him otherwise it would have been a bigger news story about blind eyes.

Not wearing a seatbelt is very common and especially amongst the rich and arrogant. Princess Diana died because of it. Even if all the other people alleged to blame for that accident are correctly blamed it is unlikely to have been fatal if wearing a seat belt. Exactly the sort of thing seat belts were invented for.

But there usually isn't evidence to fine anyone even if people see and tell so the police can turn blind eyes and be paid bonus for doing so. But now there is evidence since people insist on filming their lives in detail for social medias. So serves rishi and his daft team right. Maybe the idea person will get sacked for stupid ideas.

Fines don't count towards criminal records I think so he can stay as pm. Criminals aren't allowed to be pm.
