Like the late Chaircat Midge, I am not always right.

What a lovely photo. Did you take it OC?
In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

My guess is, niece Lynsay took it?

I thought it can't be 10 years but mina is the mum isn't she so it's not quite 10 years yet as she was already an age when oc got his new cats. I was worried about him at the time buying sickly EU migrant cats but Basingstoke lady was just unlucky and it all turned out well with oc rescuing mina for a pound. That's how I remember it anyway.
Happy birthday to mina.

You are correct, Merry, Lynsay took the picture; I thought Mina was looking unusually soulful in it.
Furby is correct as well. Mina was 13 months old when she had Midge and the rest of her litter of 6 on 22 March 2015; sadly four of them died and AFAIK Midge's brother is alive and well somewhere in Surrey. Mina cost me a nominal £50 because Basingstoke Lady paid for her to be spayed plus her initial UK vaccinations so Mina needed only a booster when I started paying for those.
Here's a pic I took of them when Midge was still a kitten and they had been with me for 2 or 3 weeks; it won a prize for Most Heart-Warming Photo in a Brendoncare pets' photo competition.
