Great Malvern - Picnic in the Park

Here's the bandstand, and some of the audience :) The park was full of happy families with kids playing and running around and doing gymnastics and football - nice kids who kept their balls/games out of the way of the older adults - many of whom looked well into their 90s - a true all-age event. [br...

Great Malvern - Picnic in the Park

Yesterday we decided to go to Great Malvern, one of our favourite places, about a 45 minute drive from Toddington, and if you go via Bredon, Eckington and Upton on Severn, a very pretty drive it is too. We stopped on the way to collect Juliet, and then onwards to the Waitrose in Malvern to buy picni...

New air fryer

The big complicated ones can be £100. I paid about £45 for mine. Jacket potatoes are another good one. Microwave for 20 mins or so first then airfry till soft inside and crisp out. Much quicker and cheaper than a big oven, and taste Ovened rather than Microwaved. How's it going with your airfryer, E...

We seem to have got out of the habit of watching this which was a must-see every year, but no doubt we'll catch some of it.

Apparently the Dutch entry is in doubt owing to 'an incident backstage' (no details yet.)
