Well you are out of luck there.
She won't get a sick note just for Malaria. This is 2010. She only has to sit there so will get a new style "fit note" and still be on the program.
Simon Cowell has already given her a sick note. This is because he doesn't want her hogging the viewers' sympathy.
Yeah, now if only he can get her to "accidentally" infect a couple of the contestants, he might get some money out of it 
Malaria isn't contageous so she'd have a hard time infecting anyone else without a few mozzies.
Raoul Moat shot himself, which was very public spirited of him in these tough financial times.
I think he did it out of sympathy for the police who had already spent a week there - apparently bumbling around without a clue.
But maybe this was just to lull him into a false sense of security.
