A MUSLIM group have revealed a plan to honour the "real Afghan war dead" - in the mourning town of Wootton Bassett.

The plan for 500 members of Islam4UK to carry symbolic coffins on a march through the market town was met with shock and disbelief yesterday.

Personally I think they have the right to support their own people, but if that's how they see it then the very least we can do is airlift them to Afghanistan so that they can fight for their own side. It must be torture for them to be here amongst foreigners they hate so much. I wouldn't subject them to our company a moment longer then necessary.

I'm not even sure we should be in Afghanistan myself, but they are not really arguing with the government, but marching against those people who lost family there.
"It's nothing to do with the people of Wootton Bassett" says Anjem Choudary the head of Islam4UK.
Wrong. It is everything to do with the people of Wootten Bassett because it is their countrymen who have died and whose bodies being repatriated are from the military base nearby.

I reckon the organisation should go ahead and hold their march under their Islamic banner, because then the police would be able to round up the whole lot and sling them in jail for inciting religious hatred.

Of course, as Pani suggests they could do the right thing and attend the burials of the Taliban personally. I'm sure they would be overjoyed to be part of the real Muslim movement instead of the tame version we've mostly got here.
