I never get to see these things anyway. To get more than a patch of sky I'd need to walk down to the river and even then it would be lit up with streetlights and such.
I know merry can walk just a little way and see no civilisation at all, but then she'd have to walk past all those plants shaking their leaves so I'm not too envious 
There are more stars tonight.
I haven't looked up yet in case the triffids get me tomorrow.
Clouds have rolled in over Bristol as usual.
I see there's a new production of Day of the Triffids on at Xmas. Might be good.
I missed the pretty stars
I sneaked a look out the window and it was cloudy here too.
I wonder if it is snow clouds.
We didn't see any triffids.
But last night at midnight we had a spectacular view of the Geminids Meteor shower. I have never seen so many, and they seemed so close and bright, you could almost reach up and touch them as they fell.
Truly spectacular.
