The red rose now has 7 flowers.
I wonder if it is possible to find out what a good year for the roses means. e.g. will it be a bitter winter.
If so it is going to be bitterer than bitter going on the progress of our roses.
I tried to google it to see if our lovely roses display does indeed have some thorny sting at the heart in the form of a bad winter.
I didn't find anything but this poem

I have reports of another garden far away from me overrun with roses.
They have all been talking there I am told about what all these flowers blooming so bloomingly can possibly mean.
So it is not just us. It is the end of the world or something.
