They all seem intent on looking at something apart from the odd duckling watching the other direction.

Ducks are not really nice to eat anyway chickens are much nicer.
Mother duck was off the picture to the left, which is why most of them all looking that way. There were two more swimming around so that's a family of eight.
They are absolutely darling.
