Despite the latest snowfall, the sunshine is very bright today. The nesting hawks seem convinced it is Spring. Thingummie Major got a couple of photos captured over vast frosty distances.
I never know how these pictures will look when I post them. So these may not be as crisp as they seem on my desktop.
Here is one of the red shouldered hawks, poised to guddle for tadpoles and crayfish, in a high tree overlooking our pond.
And here's a red tailed hawk for comparison.

Btw when they are narrower than about 710pixels (which these are) then they display ok, but if wider the board sort of squishes them.
