Does anyone know how to do this.?
When I had to get a new scanner because my old one only worked with W98, it had an adapter thing for this.
It is like a little mouse thing which plugs into a little round plug at the back of the scanner and goes on the glass part on top of a black piece of plastic with a slide shaped hole.
The only color pictures of me when I was litlle are some slides and we used to have a little TV thing to stick them in but it broke so they can't be seen now. As I can now see my Mummy again, I have been round and made her find them and tried to scan one of them.
But it just scans a picture of the mouse thing so I must be doing something wrong.
I've not seen one of those Furby, but there must be some control on the 'mouse' thingy or the front of the scanner to tell it you want slide not full page.
If you can't spot it then post the scanner name/model and we will see if we can find out.
Hope you get it working Furby - love to see a picture of a little Furby
I've just bought a new scanner and it's got a black piece of plastic and a hole for putting the slides in.
I don't have an extra mouse thingie like you have.
The scanning is controlled by the software though, so you should be able to put the slides in the black plastic slot and select Slides from the menu and press go! (she says with tongue in cheek).
As a very last resort, and I mean last resort, you could always read the manual.
I finally gave up on getting my scanner working and there was a stall on the market that did them for 10 pounds so I got them done for my birthday.
They put them on a DVD slideshow and the JPGs in a folder and I can now see them. I am sure the work in doing all that must have taken more than a person would be paid on minimum wage so perhaps they employ child slaves or something.
Anyway I can now see myself in colour. The child slaves and the market people now have my pictures I suppose but they don't ask your name they just give you a ticket like at the dry cleaners.
Glad you got them anyway.
at the child slaves and the market people having your picture. They may not have your address, but they could still stick pins in the pictures!
Mind you it's never worked all the times I have tried it
I must be doing it wrong.
