Some of our members joined hard-facts as old or new friends of mine from my days in Professionals fandom where I wrote fan fiction under the name Sebastian.
It occurred to us that it would be nice if we had a forum where we could discuss the still-thriving world of Bodie and Doyle, where our boys still run and fight and love and die and rise again.... They still have a huge fan following both here and in the US and new fans come along every day, drawn in by the exciting plots, the big guns, the sheer male beauty of the heroes... 
And not forgetting the quality of the writing in the fan fiction the series inspired, which was always exceptionally high.
Post anything you like in here, topics to discuss episodes, fanfiction, introduce yourself as a writer or a watcher, talk about fan gatherings past, present and future... anything you like. Include other fandoms if you wish.
Invite any of your friends who you think might be interested to have a little place in here to discuss Pros issues... I know there are many dedicated fan forums out there and one can't give time to them all, but convince them that HF is worth a visit 
Tell them not to be shy, Sebastian would love them to drop in to say hello!
Our much-missed member Teb would have heartily approved, as she and I met through our shared interest in Professionals. Here's to you, Teb!

The answer to Eccles' question is surely that Bodie must frequently have wanted to kill the annoying little bustard on his left
I've just seen the announcement for this at ProsLit, and although I am blushing horrendously because I haven't popped into Hard Facts for ages, I shall make an extra extra effort now that the Lads are here as well!
And... don't you think Bodie is just as annoying sometimes?!

Well yes Bodie can be very annoying.... I personally found the scene where he stuffed the stolen swiss roll into his chops and his eyes bulged out rather annoying *ducks to avoid being pelted with swiss rolls by enraged Bodie fans* 
If I had been Doyle, I would have clapped my mate smartly on both cheeks and watched the offending object fly out at great velocity...

Thank you for setting this up, and inviting Pros fans to join. Also, thank you for the hours of enjoyment I've experienced reading your beautifully written stories. I'm very glad the Lads still have a place in your heart.
I miss Teb too. I only knew her for a little while, a few months, yet I gained so much from that brief, memorable acquaintance.

The lads will live on in my heart forever and from time to time I begin a new story... or start to sequel an old one... but it's unfortunate that the advent of pcs, the net, and Word, which should make things so very much easier for us writers, also have diminished the number of hours in the day available to write..
Yes, Teb is greatly missed. She was a wonderful member of HF and made many thoughtful, wise and fascinating posts (many of which can stil be found if you look in the members' list and 'view all posts by Teb')
If anyone has any topic they want to discuss in here, feel free to start one off! I want the place busy and a'humming with life! 
And as this particular topic is pinned, it's a nice place to introduce ourselves and to chat.
I know some of you at Hard-Facts are slightly sceptical about religion, or maybe the *institutions* of religion, but I can honestlly say today that I think there *must* be a God - I'm so, so pleased and thrilled that you've opened up this section within Hard Facts, Merry, can't tell you how pleased I was to see it. Thank you so much.
