Not quite a frog, but in Involvement Bodie calls Doyle a "crafty, randy old toad." 
Ah yes! 
and yet nothing could be less froggy or toad-like than those handsome lads!
I remember OY often quoting Bodie's 'I;ll go for any woman - as long as she's under fifty and comes across'. This was very comforting to OY who was a little older than the rest of us. Since I was in my early 20s at the time it seemed I had a long way to go until I 'outgrew' Bodie's potential interest - but alas I have now passed his cut-off point

There's lots of very cool memories there already - and some memory-clashes as well, of course! I'm fascinated by your two separate groups as well - and now we have Yahoo and Lj sort of eyeing each other sideways!
Have to admit, I'm rather comforted at still being below Bodie's cut-off, too...
