The Bishop of Lichfield, the Rt Rev Jonathan Gledhill, said Christians should wear crosses at work and not be intimidated into putting them away.
He also criticised councils which tried to "rebrand Christmas" for fear of offending other religions.
Such decisions were made out of "sheer ignorance," he said.
Well, talking of ignorance, if you're a nurse then you could get the sack for wearing jewellery. If you're a Jehovah's witness then wearing icons is sinful.
Apart from that those instances though, I don't see anything wrong in being forewarned of encountering a Christian. However, I suspect the Bishop's motives are rather more to do with attempting to maintain his continued employment prospects.
