Yes, it Jab Day today, when we is protected against Feline Enteritis, Cat Flu, and Feline Leukaemia.   And also a jab to sterilize any silly horrid FLEA wot have the temerity to bite us, that keep going for 6 months so mid-year we does go again to have another one.

Well, when we arrived at Our Physician the waiting room half its normal size!   We is renovating and refurbishing the Consulting Room they did say, so this partition do close off the other half of the Waiting Room for a temporary Consulting Room.   Good job the Dog just going in to be dealt with, no worries about Little Kitten in the other basket.

As it happened the Dog was in the Consulting Room for a very long time, then it had to come out to use the big weighing machine wot too big to fit in the Consulting Room, Dog weighed 21.5 kilos.   Their bill was £61.   Then Little Kitten goes in, don't know how much that cost.

Then we is IN!   About time!   They running late!   WERGH!!   So Creature fished me out of our superbly wonderful Travelling Basket, I was so fed up with waiting I did not show willing but he got me out in the end.   I decided to be very very good, did not play up at all, let the Physician examine me, found I had lost a little weight (4.8kg now).   My weighing machine small enough to be in the Consulting Room.   My Physician very pleased I had had no more Funny Turns since end October, she and Creature both touched wood and hoped they gone away for good.

And then Creature said, you hold Midge and I'll get Claire out of the Basket.   So out was hauled Claire, protesting loudly.   My Physician let me go and I walked into the Basket all demure and co-operative.   Not so Claire.   She kept on trying to escape from Creature's grasp while my Physician wrote up my notes.   Then my Physician tried to open Claire's mouth to look at her teeth and gums, I had behaved myself and let the Physician look;  Claire got really fed up and in the end bit the Physician, at least the Physician could see Claire's gnashers in good working order.   She claimed she had seen sufficient, didn't try again!

Claire weighted, and she the same weight as me now, and all her fur grown back nicely too.   So then they let her join me in the Basket, and then Creature went to pay up.   No histrionics from him this time, he used to £70 each for us by now at January time.

So all looking good.

Wergh  :)

It is an expensive business isn't it.
It is.   I is lucky to have a kind Creature  :hug wot look after me and Sister Claire as best he can.
People think of vets as being kind and noble professionals. They never think of them having to be brave as well. Or mad. Or both.
Bet your physician wishes they were all like you, Midge! :thumbs
Creature had the reminders yesterday, so it Jab Day next month, wergh.
This coming Jab Day is on 7 January, 09:00.

Wergh  :ohwell  even though it for our own good.

Stop those werghs Midge. Creature do have to take time away from his wonderful job at the big glass and stone house in order to look after you.
That the job wot he can't wait to retire from so you doing him a favour really. :D

Stop those werghs Midge

Eccs telling me off again;  I expect it for my own good.  :)

Pray note the absence (this time) of a certain comment.

Two days to go.. good luck Midge (and sister Claire)  No scratching Creature, he Knows Best (at least this time)  :D
