The other Saturday I had wot Creature do call a Funny Turn. It like this.
I had been slumbering on my Favourite Cushion (Creature), and he dozed off too. Then I awoke and I wanted to get up, and I couldn't. So I heaving myself up and not succeeding, and this made Creature wake up too, and I fell off Creature and landed on the carpet. I tried to walk into the hall, but my back leg not working so I decided to lie down on the hall carpet. Creature looked at me a bit worried (he a bit worried - how do he think I felt - it my leg not working, not his!). Anyway, when Creature stopped looking at the thread wot I had accidentally pulled in his trouser-leg, he got up to have a look at me. So I tried to get up, and I found my leg working again, so that all right.
But that not the end of it. O No. The next day he took me with him to Our Gran, so I spent nearly all my time there using him as Favourite Cushion.
And today was Jab Day to keep away the Horrid Flea, so he consulted my physician about my recent trouble. And she said it might have been a small seizure, or maybe just cramp in my leg or deadleg because I been lying on it awkwardly - maybe best to just hope it not happen again. Creature told her I going on Holiday soon, my physician did not say I should not go; so everybody's hols is OK.
All the same, it not a nice thing to happen.
But I feel OK now.
Wergh.
Heartfelt best being-well wishes to you, Midge, and please pass on my sympathies to Creature who must have been rather concerned (even if as you say it was your leg not his). Hope it doesn't happen again. Do you ever suffer from stiffness in the joints? Have heard Omega 3 highly spoken of, though your regular Hill's probably has all the O3 even the most discerning cat could require.
Midge, I didn't know that cats got that too. I sometimes wake up to find that I have cut off the circulation to both arms ( I'm not sure how I manage that trick either), but it soon passes.
Poor Midge
Very glad to hear you feel well enough to go ahead with your Hols (and Creature and Gran too).
Hope Gran gets a nice
Purrrrrrrrrr from you and your sister on Saturday. And that Creature might dictate to you a little post about their trip to Le Manoir - 'twill be nothing so tasty as Hills', I am sure, but all the same....
Here's hoping that episode was entirely temporary and merely a pinched nerve or some such.
Much huggishness [to be taken daily as tolerated]
I does thank you all for your kindness and sympathy.

Wot you worry about? You has three other legs. I hope you has said you is sorry to creature for pulling the thread in his trouser leg. I think you were just pulling creature leg.
My back leg went dead again yesterday evening while I curled up on Favourite Cushion, I must have been lying on it wrong. But this time Creature awake, and he held me until he could see my leg woken up and working, so I did not fall over this time.
Wergh, I must be getting old.
Midge!
I know the feeling. I currently have one thumb out of action (a minor injury that nvertheless may take 6 months to heal) and before that it was one elbow. And I'm only 7 and a bit in cat years
