They went to Fort Merry to visit Merry and Mr Merry and a very good time was had by all. Merry Fort received its Comestibles (Czech Beer and Thorntons and Wine), and Creature and Our Gran received pressies as well, from Wimbledon wot very nice. Creature got a Wimbledon Cap.
Merry treated her Guests to a very good lunch, Creature always has good food at Fort Merry. And before and after lunch they had good conversation, so wot could be better.
Merry received the report about the visit to Vatika restaurant at Wickham Vineyard. Creature and Gran still ecstatic about it. Was it the delicious pre-starter of two whitebait on a delicate skewer plus a spiced pastry thingy? Or perhaps the quails breasts with strawberry chutney wot Sister Nancy had as proper starter? The soft-shelled crab wot Gran and Creature had? The water buffalo beef with lentils and yoghurt and pea/mushroom rice? The sorbets which had such a kick? Or Creature's dessert of sticky toffee in a caramel sauce with delicate icecream and a tightly rolled up pancake with all sorts of good flavours in a sort of syrup? The fine wines at reasonable prices?
No, it all those put together, plus cheerful and willing waiting staff, and the Great Man Atul Kochhar himself wot was there, all bright and beaming as the old cash register rang merrily out again.
It was superb. Nothing else can be said about it. Goodbye Le Manoir 
cos that a bit sad really, you won't be seeing Creature and Our Gran again.
And Creature and Gran very lucky to have such good friends in Merry and Mr Merry, wergh! 
And we enjoyed the visit of our good friends very much

Pity poor Creature had to drive back home afterwards and couldn't teleport, as in Star Trek. I felt rather 
after so much food!
