was a very good one, and he remembered our Hills too.
Creature and Gran made it easy for the Restaurant, they kicked off with Spaghetti in a Tuna and Tomato Sauce, very comforting. And then Beef in a mushroom sauce, with saute potatoes and a new potato, and carrot and swede mashed together, and sprouting broccoli too. With that they had a very nice Chianti.
Creature and Gran always let the head waiter pick the wine for us, but today the Boss also chose a wine for them after the first bottle brought to them. So 2 bottles on the table, and Gran refused to choose. So Creature pulled out a coin, put it on the table with a hand over it and said Heads it the Chianti, Tails it the other one and it was Heads. So they had the Chianti and very nice it was, they will have the other one another day probably.
And Gran finished with a pannecotta and Creature some trifle, and coffee.
But the best part is the friendship with the Boss and everybody else there. The Boss showed Gran a picture of the head waiter on his wedding day at the Restaurant many many years ago. His suit then was very similar to his suit today, so Creature said to the Boss Isn't it time Donato got a new suit, which the Boss thought very funny but Donato busy so he could not be told the joke just yet. And when the waitress (wot the daughter of one of the waiters) came Creature said to her Does they work your fingers to the bone? and when she said Yes naughty Creature said Good. And then they all laughed.
It good to be able to jest like that, it being with friends and they do not really want to charge for the bill but they has to.
So Creature and Gran had a good day. And later we does watch Dr Who, and the Masters a bit later on tho Creature do wish they would pension off Peter Allis, he far more interested in the goodies within the Hospitality Zone, and the flowers, and the weather - anything except the golf, really.
Wergh.

I've never had spaghetti with a tuna sauce, sounds nice though, I'll have to try it.
I think spaghetti with tuna sounds disgusting and will not try it.
I am happy for creature and his mum that they liked it though.
Did you have to pick the wine at the table with coin and take the other one home, or will you have to go back to drink it another day.
It think it is very fortunate to have friends and friends who run restaurants as at least there is less change they will spit (or worse) in your food. It iis a well known fact that this happens in most restaurants.

Creature taking Gran there for her birthday in June, so they will try the other wine then, maybe - it depend wot they order to eat.
But they has been guests there for more than 30 years, and in that time you do get to know people.
