Does anyone else watch this?
I feel it's all getting a bit samey. And I've started to record it, then skim through the bits in the Pro Kitchen as it makes me feel stressed and tired.
They had some absolutely dire cooks on last night. I reckon I could have done better. Heck, I reckon Clyde could have done better - and one of them did indeed serve up a raw apple.
All the same, something keeps me watching.
Come Dine with Me has oodles more charm and a thousand times the laughs, though.
Creature saw part of one of them, where an aspiring Cook made a chocolate brownie and had poured some white stuff on it.
It turned out she had poured melted marshmallow over it. When she spoke she clearly was from Scotland, and that caused Creature to think that she had been inspired by Scotland's great gift to culinary abominations - the deep-fried battered Mars Bar.
It seems that to obtain best results with the latter dish, you must freeze the Mars Bar to prevent premature melting; though the application of sudden heat to a frozen Mars Bar can cause it to fracture.
I bet you're all going to be extra careful when you try to prepare this exciting concoction in future.
Actually I bet it is deliciously moreish. You would feel ill after two bites: and then spend the next week craving another!
Now that's given me an urge to buy a crispy banana fritter swimming in golden syrup next time we have a Chinese takeaway!
