We went to see Avatar last night in 3D. Has anyone else seen it? I thought it was abolutely awesome..... even tho it is an epic Lord of the Rings type length (2hrs 40 mins) it had me on the edge of my seat, captivated by the amazing special effects and with a huge soft spot for the Avatar. Had me wondering how it would end it but it was good (won't spoil it for anyone who may be going).
Fab night rounded off with my (eldest) son's favourite meal at Nandos!

Thingummie Minor and her boyfriend, BesetByWeasels esquire, both enjoyed this movie also. They said it was "pretty".
I may wait to see it on DVD, since the length of it is a little daunting.
Good to hear there is something new that is worth seeing.
That sounds good to me too. 
I will try and see that when it comes out on DVD. I couldn't sit that long in a cinema, but am happy to watch a longer film if I can sit in my armchair.
All I would say to you both is that you won't get the same special effects in your armchair but am sure you will be more comfortable than I was (by the end)!
