Sky + is great.  It means I can record all the things I want to watch, and then forget to watch the recording.....
Yes, it certainly does take the pressure off. I remember the relief of getting a VCR and not having to watch things - not only at the time, but at all :lol

Is there a more complete Xmas TV guide out yet I wonder?  When I lived with my mum we used to really look forward to getting the Christmas Radio Times and circling all the juicy 'possibles'.

I had visions of 'Turn of the Screw' as being a sort of X-Factor for prison officers.

Don't give them ideas..... The last thing we want is another blasted reality Z list celebrity show   :bang
:lol  @ Raven  :D

Bought the Christmas Radio Times today.  Not had time to go through it yet... but it's out there now if you want to rush and buy your copy!

I have bought TV Choice. It has advantages over Radio Times as it is cheaper and also colour coded in vertical columns and is easier to read.

My picks are
Wallace and Gromit ( I have seen them but they are amongst my favourite things)
Day of the Triffids ( I have seen the film and read the book, but this is a new version)
Coronation Street (extra episodes for christmas as well as usual episodes)
Morecambe and Wise show (it reminds me of the olden days)
Dr Who (Will the daleks be in it, there is one on the cover of Radio Times so I expect so)

I have also realised by reading this magazine that it is the end of the decade already.
