doctors will have to rely on patients telling the truth
That must also apply to GPs too?

The pill will be on sale for £29.99.

Quite a lot more than the 7.10 prescription charge for those who pay it, and the pill used to be prescription charge free anyway.

It will make it so much more easier though and avoid all the problems we have in store from the increasing number of religious nutter doctors who are now entitled to refuse to treat patients if it upsets their beliefs.

6 months supply at a time is usual, it does not say if it is 29.99 per packet or for 6 packets. Either way, if only they send the packets individually so they fit in the letterbox and not all 6 months supply together so women have to go to the post office and collect a parcel, it will be a good scheme.

Sounds like a good thing to me. Anything that bypasses GPs is a good thing since I think of them as only Proscription Franchise Holders these days and not really part of the medical profession as such.

I think the pill should be free to all though. It's worth making something free (paid for by tax payers) if all or nearly all people benefit. In this case it even benefits single men. They'd much prefer the woman they just woke up beside to be on the pill.
