Will this be an April Fools joke or is it for real.

They can't cope anyone could tell them that, it is bad enough to get an appointment nowadays even if you are already sick.

If it is for real and they are going to develop coping mechanisms it sounds a good idea.

I have been offered a health check but it is linked to my giving my DNA for some database thing and they will not even tell me my results so as not to spoil my life.

I was offered one recently and turned it down.  Completely daft.  Those who look after themselves don't need it and those who don't won't bother anyway.
Shadow health secretary Andrew Lansley said: "In the last two years, all they've done is re-announce the policy without actually doing anything about it.

That happens with a lot of things.

Merry were you offered a "give your blood to the DNA database and we won't even tell you if you have cancer or heart disease" kind of test, or a real test from your GP?
