I think I only won once last year too
I don't have the maximum holding, though, which is supposed to work out on average at just about one prize a month.
This weekend is when they choose the winning numbers.
It must be my turn to win the million by now mustn't it, or even the quarter million would do at a pinch.
Shall I make a bluetac effigy of ERNIE and stick pins in it, get the prague infant to watch it all night, and write ERNIEs name on the fridge magnets.
Has to be worth a try.
I haven't won anything on PBs for ages. I'm seriously debating cashing them in
Imagine if I scrimped about eating Tesco Value yoghurt all year and then I died suddenly and the girls inherited my PB money and blued it all in on shoes! I might as well blue it in myself mightn't I?
Good luck for the million, Furby
Use the force, Luke! Furby!
If you do win it will give me hopes for the lottery win I'm banking on. Or rather NOT banking on so far.
53AP did not win.
It is not fair.
Do you think if I stamp my feet and hold my breath and complain about people descended from princesses who lost their castles not winning enough prizes, they will let me win next month.
Creature's Syndicate Lottery Ticket got all 6 numbers the other week.
Unfortunately for my wish to develop expensive habits, they were not all on the same row of their Ticket.
But the Ticket won £10 another week which went into the Kitty (pooled pot of money Asy, not a MidgeKitty) of which Creature is the custodian.
The £10 is an interesting question.
When the lottery was invented , I did win the odd tenner every few months or so, but recently I haven't won anything at all.
My numbers must have got unluckier or something.
Creature is lucky to work for such understanding employers that they allow a syndicate. Furby's employers banned her works syndicate when they found out about it.
Creature's Syndicate Ticket got 4 numbers last night. They were only 1 number away (they had 28 and the chosen number was 27) from getting 5 numbers.
That near miss cost them £1,730 in total because they would have won £1,799 instead of £69. But Creature quite happy about it, he do say £6.90 each is better than a kick in the teeth. He thinking about cashing the Ticket on his way to Our Gran's today because he thinks they have £33 in the kitty already, so he can give them all £10 each when he next in work on Tuesday and keep back the other £2.
It will do no harm to Syndicate morale.
Wergh!
It's always nice to win something even if it isn't enough to change your life.
It is indeed better than a kick in the teeth. People do get discouraged if they never win anything so even a small win is good news.
Does Creature get a day off on Monday then?
