Oh yes, I remember now. The £50 win. When you mentioned it during chat, Furbs, it was rather offhand and I thought it had happened a long time ago. Congratulations are in order then.
It happened a long time ago and again now.
Only 50 pounds though.
And there is a 500,000 prize that would have been so much more useful. 
Oh well. You would only have wasted it anyway on a house, spare PCs, someone to do the tidying, new coats, polo shirts, washing machine....... sigh! is right
Well good old 53AP has won again.
It has now won 4 lots of 50 pounds in the last 12 years.
Whereas some other less clever premium bonds have sat there for almost 50 years doing nothing.
Hooray for 53AP. I would redeem the rest and buy a new toaster.
I never thought to check the numbers so I could praise each winning bond individually, thus encouraging it to perform again. I will mend my ways
Well the bad news is that interest rates are so low they have reduced the prizes and I have not won for a while.
They are reducing the low prize from 50.00 to 25.00 from April so there will be more prizes to go around.
I am still waiting for the big win , years ago I would have wanted and needed the million (although I think it was half a million back then) , but now I am older the 100K would do me as it would see me through to my retirement day.
