This is like one of Merry's quizes where she lost the answers except I never had the answers.

What is this plant.

It was found living a kitchen towel and a plastic sandwich bag.

It looks like some kind of succulent or cactus to me.

Like a variety of this?

I think we used to have it in the garden, I'll ask Mr M if he remembers it.  Maybe someone else can be more precise?

One of my girls, sweet little STPD I think, used to slice up this plant or something like it for 'cabbages' to make 'soup' for her dolls.  It wouldn't have been Jay as she didn't feed her dolls but cut their heads off.
Might belong to this family, but not found your one. Echeveria Crassulaceae.
Thank you it very likely is a cactus. The trick of searching is knowing what to search for.

I think it has suffered from living in a plastic bag with only a kitchen towel for lifeforces but has done very well to survive all these months with no care.

I will try to clean it up a bit and spread it out see if it looks more like any of the pictures.

Cactus are 2.99 at Aldi next week so I don't think it is worth anything.

Cactuses are very hardy, you can buy a 'Pet Plant' that hangs from a keyring in a little glass dome.

Santa brought my girls one one year but I expect they have lost them.

Here is today's mystery plant picture.
Well now, Campion was my first thought - what doyou think?

How delicate and pretty.

This is the plastic bag plant in its new life.
It looks much happier now  :thumbs

:hug
