Chocs Away!!

Happy Birthday Merry.
I know you are far away but I have made some little cakes with contraband food items and I will wish you a happy birthday as I eat them.
Furby you actually made me choke on my lavender-and -lemon birthday fairy-cake then.
It looks just like the cup-cake Pani made for me
Chocs away indeed!
OC and his Mum - what a lovely day I'm having
Thank you, lovely Hags, for the very beautiful and appropriate card - a GWR steam train no less! - passing a cosy cottage with flowers just like the ones I had this morning
Well, they do say that March comes in like a lion, but goes out like a lamb.
Merry's birthday, therefore by definition, must be a frolicsome occasion, with abundant dewy meadow flowers and lovely green lawns sporting lambs gamboling thereupon.
The party already has begun to gather around the glass table, which features a large velveteen lined box of exquisite chocolates, which MidgeKitty thoughtfully sent in on a tiny silk parachute. It dropped from aloft, where it had been hovering on a bunch of Paniko's bright balloons. Helio is cheerfully distributing party hats, urging folks to wear them and to throw confetti. [the confetti is actually ecologically acceptable bird seed.] All guests eye the wonderfully decorative little cakes, glittering in splendor on a porcelain presentation platter, as provided by the ever thoughtful and cuddly BrownFurby. Although Hagsrus has had more than one request already for a lilting limerick, she is waiting patiently for the birthday toast. As the toast is proposed, wishing Merry a jolly good time, and innumerable more to come, Eccles is poised to immortalize the moment with an incredibly detailed photo of the guests, including a few Tits cavorting picturesquely on the nearby shrubbery.
The punch bowl is empty. Eyebrows are raised at that. But before the muttering can commence, Asy dashes in, waving a large bottle of genuine Virginia Sparkling Wine high in her hand. This makes her look vaguely like the Statue of Liberty, but her friends are too kind to mention this. "Sorry I'm late," she declares sheepishly, "It's that whole Trans Pond thing, you know?" Thingummie Minor stands nearby, proffering a bunch of wild flowers tied round with satin ribbon.
But suddenly the March lamb dashes through the assemblage, grabs the flowers in surprisingly sharp teeth, and laughingly dashes off, already munching the saffron blooms.
"Alas!" the guests all exclaim with one accord.
"Never mind," Merry says soothingly, as she pops the cork off the perfectly chilled bottle of wine. "Just be grateful it wasn't the lion."
Have a great birthday, Merry.
Time to put your feet up and let those daughters take the strain, I think!
Happy Birthday! - well, one daughter to take the strain today and me to follow tomorrow
Hopefully there may still be some cakes left... though perhaps not ones as good as Furby's by the sounds of it!
Nice story, Asy - I enjoyed
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MERRY !!
Hope you are having a wonderful day
love and hugs your BF
Chrissie xxxxx

Lovely story Asy
I am glad Thingummie Minor made it to the party, that Eccles was there to photograph Tits (through the window) that Midge's chocolates 'dropped n', that everyone showed up, and that Hagsrus was there to capture the occasion all in Limerick.
I hereby appoint Asy HF Laureate (Storyteller extraordinare)
