Had a lovely day yesterday, and woke up feeling today that if only one could always wake up to thoughts of presents and cakes to come...
Ah well, back to work for me on Monday, and a mountain of stress awaits - at least though I can greet it wearing beautiful new shoes!

I was away in Wales on the said day but have now returned and would like to add my greetings.............. ah seems like only yesterday when that beautiful blonde girl sat like an angel watching us play tennis!

I remember those long balmy summer evenings at the tennis club well - at least in memory they were always so! - sitting by the court and also playing Frogger in the bar together - and climbing trees with strange boys.
I think there were boys, anyway, though possibly only imaginary ones as I can't remember anything else about them now!
Wish I could recall the boys in the trees but sadly I think they would rather remember you! 
Glad you had a good time with the family and hope we will meet up sometime! I am in London on Wednesday to see Oliver and plan to look at The Plinth too!
