Right, here is our usual Twelvetide attempt at building with chocolate chip cookies and other edible goodies.

This year's architecture is a castle with drawbridge, moat, and a nice golden dragon.

It seems the dragon is really adept at camouflage, since most of the people who look at our castle don't see him with his jaws wide open and his tail wrapped around the base of the tower.

Ah well, use your imagination, do.  :D

Profile from a distance.
And a sky view of the moat.
Creature would be very happy to sample that cake, greedy old Creature  :D

I can see the dragon, its head is the yellowypinky bit.

It looks lovely.

I never make anything like this because I start the "whats the point" train of thought before I get as far as that. Most I do is a complete cake in one piece.

So well done for perservence, it must have taken ages to put together and I bet can be scoffed in much less time.

It's wonderful!  I love the grand, mythical-magical theme!    :hug
A work of art.  :thumbs  Almost too good to eat, but... if you insist... perhaps just a little more... :)
MidgeKitty, you have a good imagination, we can tell. Sort of like finding images in clouds, cookie architecture, innit?

Furbs, I totally agree with you. I would never spend so much effort, if it weren't for Thingummie minor "egging me on", so to speak, and Thingummie major hovering around the construction site, critiquing and photographing.

Thanks for the kind reply Merry. We felt we had outdone ourselves with last year's "little house in the forest", and absolutely had to try something more challenging. Next year, we shall need a larger platform, if we are to continue attempting grand architecture.

Panikos, we are currently gnawing on the parapets. Come right ahead, there's your dessert dish and here's your virtual slice.

Everyone else can have a serving as well, including Creature.  :grouphug

the construction site

Wow. Did everyone have to wear hard hats? :D

No, but we could have brought our helmets from the Rescue Squad,  if needed.

Fortunately the cookie dough wasn't quite hard enough to warrant protective clothing. heh... :D
