At Googleplex US, employees get to ride a slide from one floor to the next.  The interior of the headquarters is furnished with items like shade lamps and giant rubber balls.

And:  The lobby contains a piano and a projection of current live Google search queries.

So STPD will play the piano while you all watch the hi-tech version of CCTV wot is sold regularly to the Television companies (by whom, Creature does wonder) for purposes of Entertainment.  :devil

Ooh actually no I won't, Chrissie!   :cry  I don't suppose I shall get back before afternoon on Wednesday - the hospitality includes a night in a hotel and I probably won't get a train before 11am.  

But never fear you shall hear all about it...  :D

My dress came this morning and it's really quite nice!  Teamed with my pale pink satin stilettos that I can't walk in I shall feel quite glam.

The party is a 'prize' by the way - invitation to a sort of media party - won it by writing a haiku (judged by the Poet Laureate) - ten winners plus guests and lovely set of perks including the dress, the hotel, a meal out, transport etc.

I'm dreading it a little bit as I won't know a soul - but at least have trusty STPD at my side :)
